Charles Edward Hardin
Charles Edward Hardin, 46, of Beaver Dam, died Saturday, February 11, 2006, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford,
He was a truck driver and member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Beaver Dam.  He was preceded in death by his father, Arley Hardin.
Survivors include his wife, Bonita Carol Blake Hardin; his mother, Barbara (Stirsman) Watts; his stepfather, Harold R. Watts; three daughters, Latasha Rena (Hardin) Brooks, Tonya Ann (Hardin) Southerland and Tabitha Marie Hardin, all  of Beaver Dam; four sisters, Dianna Lynn (Hardin) Riveria of Owensboro, Theresa Chevelle Hicks and Jennifer Rena (Hardin) Anderson, both of Beaver Dam, and Alisha Daugherty of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; and three brothers, Bobby Ray Hardin of Hartford, Randy Lee Hardin of Beaver Dam and Alan Watts of La Grange, Kentucky.
Services were Wednesday, February 15, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Jessie Tichenor officiating.  Burial was in Taylormine Cemetery in Beaver Dam.  Online condolences to the family may be made at www.danksfuneralhome.com.

Wendell C. Allen
Wendell C. Allen, 78, of Horse Branch, died Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at his residence.
He was born February 3, 1928 to Carlos and Delora Morris Allen in Ohio County.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, member of the Church of Christ in New Baymas and was owner/operator of Allen’s Grocery Store.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Delora Allen; a brother, Rondell Allen; and a great-grandson, Tyler Dalton Autry.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Betty Lou Allen of Horse Branch; a son, Eric Dalton Allen of McHenry; a daughter, Jeanette Autry of Horse Branch; five grandchildren, Deric Allen, Ricky Autry, Jr., Chad Autry, Erika Allen and Bethany Autry; and five great-grandchildren, Carissa Allen, Hunter Autry, Brookelyn Allen, Caleb Allen and Cooper Allen.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Rev. Dwayne Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Horse Branch.  Visitation will be from 2 - 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the service Thursday at the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hospice of Ohio County, 1211 Main Street, Hartford, KY 42347.  Online messages of condolence can be made at www.danksfuneralhome.com.

Anna Belle Moseley
Anna Belle Moseley, 94, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at Bowling Green Medical Center.
The Ohio County native was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Moseley.
Graveside services were Friday at Calhoun Cemetery in Calhoun.  Duke-Bevil Bros. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Caroline A. (Riordan) Jent
Caroline A. (Riordan) Jent, 71, of Beaver Dam, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006, in Seymour, Indiana.
She was a homemaker and member of Ohio County Christian Center.  She was preceded in death by She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Jent, and her parents, Herbert and Beulah (Raymes) Riordan.
Survivors include six daughters, Mary (Jent) Hornsby of Beaver Dam, Cara (Jent) Colwell, Tina (Jent) Bridges, Brenda (Jent) Carothers, Debbie (Jent) Alexander and Lucy (Jent) Tapp, all of Seymour, Indiana; three sons, Harold Jent of Seymour, Indiana, Mike Jent of Salem, Indiana and Greg Jent of Uniontown, Indiana; 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

McKaylee Shaw Gilmore
McKaylee Shaw Gilmore, 22, of Columbia, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at Westlake Regional Hospital.
She was born in Daviess County and was a senior at Lindsey Wilson College, scheduled to graduate in May, 2006, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and an Associate Degree in Computer Science.  She ran track and was in various organizations at college.  She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Burl Hall, and a grandmother, Emogene Farmer.
Survivors include her father and stepmother, Benjamin and Martha Gilmore of Beaver Dam; her mother and stepfather, Pam and Mark Coomes of Owensboro; a sister and brother-in-law, Sulicia and Scott Thompson of Owensboro; a brother, Ben Gilmore of Beaver Dam; paternal grandmother, Frances Hall of Fordsville; maternal grandfather, Bert Farmer of Whitesville; two stepsisters, Ren’ee Seaton and Shelley and Tony Mattingly; three stepbrothers, Curt Seaton, Brian and Nathan Coomes; her nieces, Randy Kenner, Natalie, Mandy and Zoe Thompson, Kendall Seaton, Olivia Hall and Taylor Mattingly; a nephew, Zakery Thompson; and her Lindsey Wilson family.
Services were Saturday at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville with burial in Providence Cemetery in Fordsville.  Expressions of sympathy may be made to Providence Cemetery Fund.

George Harold Coppage, Sr.

George Harold Coppage, Sr., 85, of Fordsville, died Friday, February 17, 2006, at his home. 
He was born in Breckinridge County, was a graduate of Yeaman High School and was a life-long farmer.  He was an Air Force Veteran of World War II and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Grace Coppage, and a sister, Ernestine Free.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ann Coppage; three daughters, Linda (Sonny) Spurrier of Owensboro, Shirley (Earl Wayne) Boswell of Dundee and Becky Coppage of Fordsville; one son, George (Shawna) Coppage of Falls of Rough; six grandchildren, Lindsey (Kevin) Richardson of Lexington, Laura (Travis) Cheatham of Jacksonville, Florida, Whitney Spurrier, Suzannah Spurrier and Skip Spurrier, all of Owensboro, and Ethan Crowder of Falls of Rough; a great-grandson, Zack Richardson of Lexington; a sister, Wanda (Coy) Lovins of Fordsville; two brothers, Dwane (Deloris) Coppage of Olaton and Rex (Betty) Coppage of Falls of Rough; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were Monday at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Pattiville. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Ohio County.

William David Leach

William David Leach, 64, died Monday, February 20, 2006, at Professional Care Home Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hartford.
He was born in Ohio County to the late William T. “Bill” and Blanche Lambert Leach December 9, 1941.  He was a retired principal with the Ohio County School System and served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Leach, on September 5, 2001.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy (Lisa) Leach of Hartford; four grandchildren, Jessica Myers, Garrett, Samantha and Brennon Leach, all of Hartford; a brother, Steve Leach of Lexington; and two nephews, Blake Leach of Hopkinsville and Arthur Leach of Hartford.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.  Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.  Friends may visit the family Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Florence Gertrude Hughes Cordrey
Florence Gertrude Hughes Cordrey, 85, of Hartford, died Monday, February 20, 2006, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. 
She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio to the late Ora E. Hughes and Molly Della.  She was a retired homemaker and member of Hartford Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bro. Ronald Robert Cordrey, on July 14, 2003; her brothers, Paul Hughes, Harry Hughes, Fulton Hughes and Floyd Hughes; and her sisters, Sarah Hughes, Bessie Hughes, Martha Hughes and Elizabeth Hughes.
Survivors include two sons, Bro. David R. (Connie) Cordrey of Louisvlle and Bro. Darrell R. (Elaine) Cordrey of Hartford; five grandchildren, Rob Cordrey of Maineville, Ohio, Christy Cox of Hartford, David Cordrey of Dayton, Ohio, Randy Cordrey of Louisville and Ronnie Cordrey of Chicago, Illinois; and six great-grandchildren, Nikkie McClain, Nathan Cordrey, Alex Cox, Jonathan Cordrey, Jordan Cordrey and Ella Cordrey.
Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hartford Christian Church. Visitation will be at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m. and at Hartford Christian Church Thursday from 9 - 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford.  The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hartford Christian Church Building Fund, P.O.
