Hattie Lee Johnson
Hattie Lee Johnson, 93, of Hartford, died March 13, 2007, at the Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation Center in Owensboro.
She was born on August 8, 1913, in Ohio County to the late Charles C. and Mahala Wright Hines.  She was a retired school teacher as well as a retired social worker having been employed by the Kentucky Department of Public Assistance for twenty-five years.  She was a longtime board member of the Green River Home Health Service, a member of Bennett Homemakers, East Hartford Baptist Church and Retired Teachers’ Association.
She was married to Ben J. Johnson on April 16, 1940.  He preceded her in death on July 19, 1967.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bill, Wavy, Charles “Dink,” Arnett and Goebel Hines, Donnie Marsh, Bonnie Boswell and Cliffie Coleman.
She is survived by daughters, Sue (Joe) Evans of Owensboro and Marcia (Ronnie) Dersch of Santa Claus, Indiana; grandchildren, Darryl (Carolyn) Evans of Louisville, Todd (Linda) Evans of Owensboro, Sonya (John) Joyce of Claremont, Illinois, and Julie (Joel) Cosby of Santa Claus, Indiana; four great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Vada Stogner of Beaver Dam; a brother, Elvis (Thelma) Hines of Olaton; a sister-in-law, Inez Hines of Olaton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 15, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Duke-Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Hartford.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday.  Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford.


Brenda M. Frizzell
Brenda M. (McKeown) Frizzell, 51, of Beaver Dam, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at her home.  She was a member of McHenry Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  
She was born September 13, 1955, in Hazard, Kentucky, to James McKeown, now of Beaver Dam and the late Ora (Combs) McKeown.
She is also survived by her husband, Carl Frizzell; two daughters, Jennifer (Mike) West and Joy Ann (Robbie) Coble, both of Beaver Dam; three sisters, Nancy Joseph of Beaver Dam, Peggy McKeown of Owensboro and Sharon Dixon of Beaver Dam; three brothers, Danny McKeown, Ronnie McKeown and Jim McKeown all of Beaver Dam; and seven grandchildren, Jocelyn Davis, Jonathon Davis, Michael West, Cody West, Jenna West, Haley Ann Coble and Jacoby Coble.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 15, 2007, at 1 p.m. at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Scott Fleener officiating.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday.  Burial will be private.

Billy Ray Harder
Billy Ray Harder, 74, of Fordsville, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at Fordsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  
He was born in Ohio County, was of the Baptist faith and an Army veteran.  He had worked as a manager at Ashland Oil Company and was retired from Modern Welding.  
He was preceded in death by his wife, Velva Jean Harder on November 22, 2004; and a daughter Debra Jean Harder on March 24, 1966.
He is survived by a son, Douglas Harder; four grandchildren; and one brother, Glen Harder of Dundee.
Funeral services were held at Fordsville Baptist Church on Friday, March 9, 2007.  Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Pattiville.  Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville was in charge of arrangements.

Harold L. White
Harold Leon White, 70, died March 3, 2007, at St. John’s Continuing Care in Anderson.
He was born September 14, 1936, in Prentiss, Kentucky, and had been a resident of Pendleton since 1954.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dellious and Mildred Lois (Davis) White; a son, Lee Allen White; sister, Opal McKinney; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Eileen (Hazelbaker) Roeder. 
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Carole J. (Roeder) White of Pendleton; five children, Susan Humphrey of Anderson, Julie Gilley of Pendleton, Paula Hoppes Crago of Anderson, Jimmy McKinzie of Sheridan, Wyoming and Michelle (McKinzie) Borski of Pendleton; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Willoughby and Brenda Willoughby, both of Beaver Dam.

  Kevin Brian Haynes
Kevin Brian Haynes, 49, of Louisville, formerly of Beaver Dam, passed away, Friday, March 2, 2007, at his residence.  
He was born December 29, 1957, to Arthur and the late Gladys June Dawes Haynes in Hopkins County and was employed by Algeier Air as an electrician.
He is survived by his father, Arthur Haynes of Beaver Dam; one brother, Keith Haynes of Louisville; and one sister, Margaret Baize of Beaver Dam.
