Jerry Fulton
Jerry Fulton, 62, of Beaver Dam, passed away Tuesday at Owensboro Medical Health Systems in Owensboro.  He was born in Ohio County, was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church and was a retired UMWA miner with Peabody Coal for 31 years.  
He is survived by his wife, Gail Fulton; two sons, Robert Fulton of Olaton and Mark D. Fulton of Beaver Dam; one daughter, Jerrianna Nix of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Bethany Willey, Alyson Fulton and Jack Fulton; two brothers, Charlie Fulton of Bowling Green and Alton Fulton of Beaver Dam; five sisters, Mavis Ortman of Fairfield, Illinois, Flo Hoit of Imperial, Missouri, Mable Borah of Louisville, Effie Honacker of Richardsville, and Jenny Burns of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday at Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.  Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until funeral time, Thursday at the funeral home.
Dorothy Marie Hocker
Dorothy Marie Hocker, 80, of Beaver Dam, passed away March 19, 2007, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford.
She was born on November 14, 1926, to the late Harvey and Ethie Frizzell Plummer in Ohio County.  She was a retired food service employee with the Ohio County School System and a member of Hickory Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Beaver Dam, a member of the Ohio County Singing Convention where she served as secretary for 25 years, and a member of the Rosine Area Community Choir.  
She was preceded in death by her husband William “W. C.” Hocker, who passed away August 8, 2002.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Etta Mae Phelps and her brother Flonis Plummer
She is survived by one son, Walter C. Hocker, of Bowling Green; one daughter, Elsie Hocker, of Robards, Kentucky; one sister, Dene Smith, of Nashville, Tennessee; one grandson, Scott Hocker, of Bowling Green; and one great-grandson, Austin Hocker, of Bowling Green.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with pastor Vicki Watson officiating.   Burial was in Hickory Cemetery near Beaver Dam

Minnie M.        Sullivan
Minnie M. Sullivan, of Hartford, formerly of Cayce, Kentucky, died March 19, 2007, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford.  She was born February 6, 1908, in Hickman County, Kentucky.  She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Robert H. Sullivan on February 2, 1986; her parents, Will and Radie Hollingsworth Price; a daughter, Frances Elizabeth Sullivan; a daughter-in-law,    Jean Sullivan; two great-grandchildren, Kristy Morefield and Richard Morefield; five brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by a son, Sam Sullivan of Hartford; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, Kentucky.  Burial was at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Irvin H. Royal 
Irvin Royal, of 1934 Hughes Avenue, died Sunday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansille.  He was born June 13, 1923, in Ohio County, to the late Frankfort Lee and Sara Frances Johnson Royal.  
He was retired from Green River Steel Corporation in Owensboro as an electrician and was a member of Friendship Church of Christ.  He was a WWII veteran. 
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Ethel Braner Royal in 2006.
He is survived by David Royal, Mark Royal, Kathy Shouse, Karen MacDonald; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and seven  great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville, with burial in Friendship Cemetery in Ohio County.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m., Wednesday and after 9 a.m., Thursday.  


William Thomas Page
William Thomas “Tom” Page, 63, of Hartford, died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Owensboro Medical Health System.  He was a retired over the road truck driver for Lynn Page and Sons, Inc. and Land Star Ligon, Inc. and a member of Owensboro Church of Christ. 
He was born July 2, 1943, in Ohio County, to  the late Lynn “Jim” Page and Anna Lois Smith Page.
He is survived by his spouse, Nancy Thomas Page; one son, Danny Page; and one brother, Charles Lynn Page, all of Hartford. 
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford with burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford. 

Woody Sawyers
Woody Sawyers, 76, of Guston, Kentucky, died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at his residence and was a self-employed tile setter.  
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Beasley Sawyers; daughters, Sue Montgomery, Phyllis Singleton and Dinah Conder; sons, Wilbur Harrell, Bill Beasley and Mack Beasley; sisters, Bessie Harris, Sarah Sizemore, Mary Belle Lovins and Lucy Causey; brothers, Costen Sawyers and Billy Sawyers; 27 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Hardy Funeral Home, 10907 Dixie Hwy., on Thursday, March 22, 2007, at 12 p.m.  Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday.  Burial will be in Brookland Cemetery.

Mary C. White
Mary C. White, 60, of Morgantown, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.  
She was born November 4, 1946, to the late Everett and Maurine Leisure Schroader in McHenry.  She was a member of Oak Grove Church of God in Cromwell and was retired from Sumitomo where she was a line leader.
She is survived by her husband Billy Ray White, of Morgantown; one son, James Ray White, of Morgantown; two daughters, Charlotte Mauren Philpot, of Morgantown and Sarah Elizabeth Mayes, of Beaver Dam; one brother, Daniel Schroader, of Hartford; two sisters, Sheril Shephard, of Beaver Dam and Wanda Flippin of Taft, California; and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Oak Grove Church of God in Cromwell.  Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.  William L. Danks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
