Idia
Fay Westerfield, 69, of Beaver Dam, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2007,
at her residence.
Mrs.
Westerfield was born on January 10, 1938, in Ohio County to the late
David Scott and Jane Pharris Hayse.
She
was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.
She
worked for 27 years in food service for the Ohio County School System
and was a volunteer at Rosine Community Park for many years.
Survivors
include her husband, William B. Westerfield of Beaver Dam; three sons,
David Reathel McCoy of Pennesboro, West Virginia, and Brian Keith Westerfield
and William Cecil Westerfield, both of Horse Branch; a daughter, Lora
Jane Westerfield of Horse Branch; four sisters, Christine Stewart of
Rosine, Reba Duran of Tucson, Arizona, Agnes Phelps of Horse Branch
and Nita Newman of Barling, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral
services will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007, at 1 p.m. at William
L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Mike Taylor officiating.
Burial
will be in Rosine Cemetery in Rosine.
Visitation
will be from 1 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. until the time
of service on Thursday.

Randall
J. Belcher
Randall
J. (Joe) Belcher, 72, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, April 28,
2007, at Owensboro Medical Health System.
The
Ohio County native was the son of the late Hazel (Prater) and Hubert
Belcher.
He
was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retired from Big Rivers Electric
Corp. where he was a security guard and was a member of Barnett's Creek
Baptist Church.
Joe
enjoyed doing mechanic work on old machinery and trucks.
Besides
his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wendell, and a sister,
Betty Jewell Bristow.
He
is survived by his wife of 16 years, Frances "Sue" Terry Belcher; a
son, Randall Joe Belcher, Jr., and his wife Gail of Lewisburg; step-sons,
Mark
Haire of Taylorsville, Illinois, and James Haire and his wife Linda
of Owensboro; a step-daughter, Darlene Higdon and her husband Jason
of Louisville; four grandchildren, Ethan and Cynthia Belcher of Lewisburg
and Nate and Brooke Higdon of Louisville; brothers, Kenneth and his
wife Bernice and Harold and his wife Barbara, all of Pleasant Ridge
and James and his wife Barbara of Owensboro; a sister-in-law, Wanda
Belcher of Hartford; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral
services were held on Monday, April 30, 2007, at James H. Davis Funeral
Chapel. Burial was in Barnett's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Betty
Nall
Betty
(Bell) Nall, 81, of Matanzas, died April 27, 2007.
She
was the daughter of Silas N. Bell and Elizabeth (Lizzie) K. Bell.
Betty
Jo was an active member of the Cadet Nursing Corps at Kentucky Baptist
Hospital School of Nursing.
She
graduated in 1947 as a RN and worked as an Orthopedic Nurse at Sts.
Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville.
She
was preceded in death by her parents, "Ms. Lizzie" and "Mr. Silas,"
her husband, Lovell Nall, and a sister, Marthalene.
She
is survived by two daughters, Jo Caroline and husband Jonathan of Mason,
Ohio, and Linda and husband Lawrence of Sacramento, California; granddaughters,
Elizabeth and Catherine of Sacramento, California; and a sister, Mertigene
Bell of Matanzas.
A
private family funeral is planned.

Brothers Funeral Homes, Inc. in Hartford is in charge of arrangements.
In
lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations
to either the West Point Baptist Church or the Bell Family Cemetery.
Charles
L. Baggarly
Charles
L. "Chuck" Baggarly, 59, of Maceo, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday,
April 18, 2007,
at
his residence after a valiant four-year struggle with cancer.
He
was born on January 16, 1948, in Ohio County to the late Floyd Ree and
Mary Elizabeth Benton Baggarly.
He
was a member of Masonville United Methodist Church and a past member
of the Dundee Masonic Lodge.
He
was a Marine veteran of Vietnam, stationed in Okinawa, Japan, where
he was a metalsmith/maintenance man on the C-130 Hercules.
He
worked for 13 years for Peabody Coal Company at Alston Surface Mine
and for General Electric for about eight years.
Music
had been a big part of his life.
He
played in many different bands locally and while in the service.
He
was an original member of the rock and roll band called the "Chevelles"
and also was a bass guitar player with the original members at Goldie's
Opryhouse.
He
loved all types of motorsports, UK basketball and loved riding motorcycles.
He
was preceded in death by a daughter, Belinda Ann Mangum, in February
1996.
Survivors
include his wife, Sue Whitworth Baggarly; his children, Becky Callaway
and her husband Eric of Powhatan, Virginia, Angela Oliva and her husband
Dan of Antioch, California, Debra Baggarly Reynolds of Powhatan, Virginia,
and Jerry Cecil Baggarly; seven grandchildren, Stevie Rae Mangum, Meghan
Gilstrap, Xan and Victoria Callaway, and Clara, Elizabeth and Mollie
Oliva; four sisters, Kay Black of Echols, Wilma Faye Baker Smith of
Owensboro, Frannie Ward and her husband Roger of Hartford and Linda
Goff and her husband Eddie of McHenry; and a brother, Glenn Benton of
Louisville.
Funeral
services were held on Monday, April 23, 2007, at Glenn Funeral Home
with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
