Justine Coleman Ferguson

Justine Coleman Ferguson, 76, of Bremen, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.
She was born on January 26, 1931, in Ohio County to the late Matthew and Myrtle Coleman.  She was married to Chester Ferguson on August 16, 1952.
She was a devoted mother and wife and a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Reda Hudson and her husband, Chester Ferguson.
Survivors include three sons and their wives, Ricky and Judy Ferguson of Bremen, Barry and Sharon Ferguson of Central City and Mark and Sandra Ferguson of Bremen; four grandchildren, Taren Phillips, Courtney Ferguson, Brandon Ferguson and Kara Beth Ferguson; a great-granddaughter, Amelia Mohnen; two brothers, Billy Coleman of Louisville, Randall Coleman of Hartford; and two sisters, Beatrice Taylor of Beaver Dam and Freda Johnson of Hartford.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2007, at 2 p.m. at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.  Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery in Beaver Dam.  Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

O'Reva Gray
Graveside services for O'Reva Gray of Owensboro will be held Saturday, May 19, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Taylor  Mine Cemetery in Beaver Dam.  William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is in charge of arrangements.


Marilyn Sue Embry
Marilyn Sue Elmore White Embry, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.
She was born on March 1, 1942, to the late Carl and Opal Baize Elmore in Midway, Kentucky.  She was of the Baptist faith, a homemaker and a member of Grace Chapter #37 of Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hershel Edwin White who passed away on December 27, 1972, and her son, Hershel Edwin White, Jr., who passed away on October 27, 1963.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Wendell Embry of Greenville; two sons, Leslie Edwin White and wife Missy of Moberly, Missouri, and Jeff Embry and wife Jeanie of Wilmington, North Carolina; two daughters, Kathy Kinison and husband Hubert, Jr., of Greenville and Shelley Boyles and husband Jeff of Athens, Alabama; a brother, Benny Elmore of Pleasant Ridge; six grandchildren, Amy Wright and husband Adam, Jackie Embry, Cedrake White, Casey Embry, Celeste Boyles and Sean Webb; and four great-grandchildren, Madison, Nicholas, Christian and Spencer.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2007, at 11 a.m. at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Lealin Geary officiating.  Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.  Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Louie W. McManaway
Louis W. "Pete" McManaway, 77, of Reynolds Station, died Monday, May 14, 2007, at his daughter's home. 
He was born in Hancock County and was retired from NSA.  He was a member of Boling Chapel United Methodist Church and a veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
Survivors include his wife, Joe Ann McManaway, who resides at Hillcrest Rehabilitation Center; three sons, Gary McManaway of Lewisport, Kim McManaway of Reynolds Station and Barry McManaway of Indiana; a daughter, Deanna Ratajczak of Lewisport; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville with burial in Newton Springs Cemetery.  Visitation was from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.  
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Daviess County and Boling Chapel United Methodist Church.

Kelly DeWayne Chinn
Kelly DeWayne Chinn, 33, of Norcross, Georgia, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2007, at DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia.
Kelly was born on January 1, 1974, in Ohio County.  He was the son of Terri and Jamie Baggarly of Echols and Jimmy Chinn of Centertown.
He was a graduate of Ohio County High School and Murray State University, a member of Rockport Christian Fellowship in Rockport and was employed by Bench Mark Brands, Inc. where he was a graphic designer.  He was a member of The Cavaliers, World Champion in Drum and Bugle Corp. of Rosemont, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Givens and paternal grandmother, Unita Dell Chinn.
Survivors include two brothers, Bryon Chinn and wife Janet of Hartford and Jeremy Chinn and wife Brandy of Beaver Dam; a half-brother, Vincent Cook of Centertown; his maternal grandmother, Margie Givens of Hartford; paternal grandfather, James Chinn of McHenry; two nieces, Jessica Chinn of Cromwell and Mercedes Minton of Hartford; and two nephews, Aiden Chinn and Michael Chinn of Beaver Dam.  Several aunts and uncles also survive.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Reecie Young officiating.  Burial was in Echols Cemetery in Echols, Kentucky.

Debbie Ann Dockery
Debbie Ann Dockery, 46, of Middleton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2007, in Middleton.
She was born on May 21, 1960, in Butler County the daughter of Royce and Shirley Dockery.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Flener of Morgantown; a son, Jonathan Flener of Morgantown;  three brothers, Ricky Dockery, Marty Dockery and Jarod Dockery, all of Horse Branch; four sisters, Dianna Wilson of Hartford, Deloris Jackson of Morgantown, Jeannie McPherson of Horse Branch and Tammy Hayes of Cromwell; and three granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville.  Burial will be in McCandless Cemetery.  Visitation was from 3 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.

Charles Samuel York
Charles Samuel York, 64, of Hartford, died Friday, May 11, 207, at Ohio County Hospital.
He was born on October 13, 1942, in Ohio County to the late Fielder York and Gola Dee Trogden York.
He was a self-employed carpenter, a member of Washington United Methodist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Viet Nam War.
He is survived by his wife, Ginette Julita Francoise Delorie York of Seychelles Indian Ocean; sons, Michael Charles York of Greeneville, Tennessee, and John Christopher York of Hartford; sisters, Ruth Bennett of Centertown and Betty Tichenor of Nashville, Tennessee; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, May 14, 2007, at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford.  Burial with Military Honors was in Sunnyside Cemetery.


Dottye Huff
Dottye Huff, 75, of Fordsville, died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at her home.
She was born in Fordsville and was retired from Federal Reserve Bank.  She was a member of Fordsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Nancy Ruth Huff of Fordsville; five brothers, Arthur Huff of Reynolds Station, W.R. Huff and Garry Huff, both of Fordsville, Phillip Huff of Philpot and Larry Huff of Leitchfield; and two sisters, Judy Hoover of Louisville and Lena Mae Ebling of Hawesville.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville.  Burial was in Fordsville Cemetery.

Danny Heflin
Danny Lynn Heflin, 47, of Beaver Dam, died Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro.
He was born on August 21, 1959, to the late Paul Glenn and Loretta Southard Heflin.  He was a logger and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include five brothers, Garry Dale Lacefield of Princeton, Kentucky, Larry Wayne Heflin, Cary "Tumpy" Heflin, Jeffery "Bo" Lee Heflin and David Ray Heflin, all of Beaver Dam; and four sisters, Regenia Francis Henderson of Cromwell, and Patricia Ann Adcock, Cindy Irene Heflin and Carla Mae Helfin, all of Beaver Dam.
Funeral services were held on Friday, May 11, 2007, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with burial in Southard Cemetery in McHenry.

Robert R. Hock
Robert R. Hock died May 4, 2007, in Winfield, Illinois.  He was born on January 3, 1958 in St. Charles, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his father, George William Hock; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George (Ethel) Hock and Mr. and Mrs. Victor G. (Edna) Luedtke.
Survivors include his mother, Dolores K. Hock of Horse Branch; his wife, Mary of Winfield, Illinois; three sons, Robert R., Brad and Garon, all of Winfield; one daughter, Theresa Grace of Winfield; a brother, George R. Hock of Carol Stream, Illinois; sisters, Pamela Brogie of Horse Branch, Patsy Ann Cornwell of Aurora, Illinois, and Kathy M. Geary of Leitchfield.
Funeral services were held on May 8, 2007, at St. John's Cathedral Church in Winfield, Illinois.  Interment was at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield.
