Hulbert
C. "Hub" Stewart, 79, of Cromwell, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007,
at Owensboro Medical Health System.
He
was born September 1, 1927, in Ohio County to the late William Harvey
and Nora Ellen Parks Stewart.
He
was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and worked for
Charlie Daugherty Sawmill.
Survivors
include his wife, Lucille Filback Stewart of Cromwell; two sons, Bucky
Stewart and David Filback, both of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter, Susie Geary
of Horse Branch; a sister, Josie Willoughby of Baizetown; eight grandchildren;
and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral
services were held Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at William L. Danks Funeral
Home in Beaver Dam.
Burial
was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near the Mt. Pleasant community.

"Slim" Bartlett, 87, of Hartford, died Saturday, June 16, 2007, Ohio
County Hospital.
He
was born in Ohio County and a member of Smallhaus Baptist Church.
He
was a truck driver and served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors
include his wife, Edna Bartlett; four sons, Marlan R. Bartlett of Hartford,
Royce H. Bartlett of Jesup, Georgia, Sammie Dwight Bartlett of Bloomington,
Illinois, and Donnie Morris Bartlett of Island; two step-sons, James
Patton of Hartford and Norman Patton of Henderson; a step-daughter,
Brenda Priar of Sesser, Illinois; three sisters, Opal Hoover of Scotsville,
and Orpha Park and Margaret Ball, both of Hartford; six grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.
Funeral
services were held Monday, June 18, 2007, at Duke-Bevil Brothers Funeral
Home in Hartford.
Burial
was in Oakwood Cemetery.

15, 2007, at Owensboro Medical Health System.

Frances Miller was born March 25, 1942, in Ohio County to the late Archie
and Emily Miller.
She
was a homemaker, retired school bus monitor and a faithful member of
Horse Branch Church of God.
She
is survived by her husband of 48 years, W.T. Geary.

Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. William Geary and Rev. Anthony Goff officiating.

Robert
E. Jarvis, 58, of Beaver Dam, passed away, Thursday, May 14, 2007, at
Owensboro Medical Health System.
He
was born February 28, 1949, in Norfolk, Virginia, to the late Malcolm
Lee and Zudie Mae Blake Jarvis.
He
was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of New Panther
Creek Baptist Church, a truck driver for Ashland Oil Company and
a
member of VFW Ohio County #5766, AM VETS Post 117, American Legion #55
and Ohio County Honor Guard.
He
was preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Elaine Arwood.
Survivors
include his wife, Patricia Ann Whitehouse Jarvis of Beaver Dam;
four
sisters, Dorothy Whitehurst of Ocala, Florida, Betty Flemming of Stafford,
Virginia, Patricia Slaton of St. Augustine, Florida, and Margaret Mae
Jones of Mobile, Alabama; and a brother, Malcolm Lee Jarvis, Jr., of
Virginia Beach, Virginia.

services were held Monday, June 18, 2007, at William L. Danks Funeral
Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Rodney Albin officiating.
