Mary W. Montgomery
Mary W. Montgomery, 80, of Beaver Dam, passed away Monday, June 25, 2007, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford.
Mrs. Montgomery was born June 22, 1927, in Island, Kentucky, to the late William and Rachel Evans Wood.  She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church where she was a member of the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class.  She was a retired registered nurse at Ohio County Hospital.  Her life revolved around church, family and  bridge and she was a fan of college basketball.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Montgomery who passed away March 26, 1965.
Survivors include two sons, Mike Montgomery of Owensboro and Richard Montgomery of Linton, Indiana; two daughters, Marilyn Seelig of Beaver Dam and Debra Duncan of Morgantown; two sisters, Gladys Buckles of Caneyville and Shel Hayes of Goshen, Kentucky; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Glenn Armstrong officiating.  Burial was in Layman Memorial Cemetery in Leitchfield.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Heart Association  or Beaver Dam Baptist Church Summer Lunch Program.

W.C. Hamilton
W.C. Hamilton, 74, of Centertown, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at his residence.
He was born in Louisville, was a truck driver and attended Lone Star General Baptist Church.  He was also an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Hamilton of Centertown; six sons, William E. Hamilton and Terry L. Hamilton, both of Owensboro, Darrell R. Hamilton of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Mark A. Hamilton of Hartford, Michigan, and Scottie L. Hamilton and James F. Hamilton, both of Centertown; two daughters, Donna Keener of Hartford and Selina C. Hamilton of Madisonville; a brother, Donnie R. Hamilton of Louisville; a sister, Pat Putty of Louisville; 27 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 22, 2007, at Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.  Burial was in Point Pleasant Cemetery near Centertown.  Graveside military services were performed by the Ohio County Honor Guard.

Harold Dwayne Tague
Harold "Debo" Dwayne Tague, 74, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at Owensboro Medical Health System.
He was born November 15, 1932, in Indiana, to Robert Tague, Sr., and Rae Tague.  He was a mechanic and painted cars.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1991; his mother in 1993; and a granddaughter in 1997.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Brenda Tague and Kayla Tague, both of Owensboro; three sons, Rick Tague and Harold Tague, both of Owensboro and Johnnie Tague of Louisville; three daughters, Angela Tague, Tammy Augenstein and Tara Goodman, all of Owensboro; two brothers, Tommy Tague of Rural Retreat, Virginia, and Robert Tague, Jr., of Shelbyville, Indiana; one sister, Beverly Rusher of Fordsville; 13 grandchildren;  and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday, June 22, 2007, at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville.  Burial was in Newton Springs Cemetery in Hancock County.


Masonya Lynn Burdin
Masonya Lynn Burdin, 43, of Beaver Dam, died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at her home.  
Masonya was born June 29, 1963, in Leitchfield to Larry and Novella Sandefur Burdin.  She was a member of Sugar Grove Church of Christ in Renfrow and was employed by Wal-Mart in Beaver Dam for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John T. and Eddith Burdin and Pirtle and Sophia Sandefur.
Survivors include her parents, Larry and Novella Sandefur Burdin of Beaver Dam; two brothers, Matt Burdin and wife Ashley and children, Mason and Parker of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, and John Burdin of Horse Branch; four sisters, Paula Duke and husband Jimmy and children Katlyn and Seth, Rachel Embry and husband Eddie and children Kayla, Kegan, Kinsey and Kacie, and Amber Burdin, all of Beaver Dam, and April Bradley and husband Greg and son Cameron of Horse Branch; and her dog, Molly.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Brother Joe Van Roberts and Brother Mike Tanaro officiating.  Burial was in Boyd Cemetery near Horse Branch.

Robert E. Jarvis
Robert E. Jarvis, 58, of Beaver Dam, passed away, Thursday, June 14, 2007, at Owensboro Medical Health System. 
He was born February 28, 1949, in Norfolk, Virginia, to the late Malcolm Lee and Zudie Mae Blake Jarvis.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of New Panther Creek Baptist Church, a truck driver for Ashland Oil Company and  a member of VFW Ohio County #5766, AM VETS Post 117, American Legion #55 and Ohio County Honor Guard.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Elaine Arwood.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Whitehouse Jarvis of Beaver Dam;  four sisters, Dorothy Whitehurst of Ocala, Florida, Betty Flemming of Stafford, Virginia, Patricia Slaton of St. Augustine, Florida, and Margaret Mae Jones of Mobile, Alabama; and a brother, Malcolm Lee Jarvis, Jr., of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 18, 2007, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Rodney Albin officiating.
