Estelle Barnard
Estelle Barnard, 89, of Beaver Dam, passed away, Monday, July 9, 2007, at Dogwood Retreat in Hartford.  
She was born April 25, 1918, in Ohio County to the late Argle W. and Audra Drake Leach.  She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church in Beaver Dam and retired from Ohio County Board of Education where she worked in food service.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Williams Barnard, who passed away on January 29, 1958.
Survivors include two sons, Freddie L. Barnard of LaFayette, Indiana, and Randy G. Barnard of Maumee, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jared Barnard, Mathew Barnard and Veronica Barnard, all of LaFayette, Indiana, and Ashley Barnard and Molly Barnard, both of Maumee, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Glenn Armstrong officiating.  Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.  Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

George Thomas Bickett
George Thomas Bickett, 85, of Hartford, died Monday, July 9, 2007, at Professional Care Health and Rehab Center in Hartford.
He was born in the Roseville Community in Ohio County to the late John Henry and Rebecca Ellen Morgan Bickett.  He was a retired welder from Combustion Engineering in East Chicago, Indiana, and was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Beaver Dam.  He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a P.O.W. in Germany.  He was a member of the Disabled Veterans and the VFW.
He was preceded in death by a son, John Thomas Bickett, and a daughter, Helen Sue Burkhalter.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Slone Bickett; two daughters, Betty Long and her husband Mark of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Sandy James and her husband Jeff of Hartford; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille Gidcomb of Fontana, California.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.  Friday, July 13, 2007, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Owensboro.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.  Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  Military services will be conducted at the gravesite.

Mildred L. Eudaley
Mildred L. Eudaley, 84, died Monday, July 9, 2007, at the Ohio County Hospital.  
She was born September 2, 1922, in Ohio County, the daughter of the late Robert Edmund and Birtie Boone Eudaley.  She was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Jenny Stuart Hospital in Hopkinsville where she worked as an LPN.  She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 78 in Centertown.
She is survived by four nieces, Nancy Frame of Hartford, Irma Goff of Graham, Rachel Russell of Louisville and Sandra Baird of Spokane, Washington; and three nephews, Luther Cummins of Owensboro, Eddie Cummins of Centertown and Bobby Chinn of Melrose Park, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Hartford.  Burial will be in Ceralvo Cemetery near Centertown.  Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.  Eastern Star services were held on Wednesday at 7 p.m.


Mary Leitch Middleton
Mary Leitch Middleton, 83, of Beaver Dam, formerly of Evarts, Kentucky, passed away, Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Norton's Hospital in Louisville.  
She was born January 13, 1924, in Vinton County, Ohio, to the late Henry and Tina Wilbur Leitch.  She was a 1943 graduate of Evarts High School and was a long-time employee of Stewart's IGA in Beaver Dam.
She leaves to cherish her  memory, her husband of 57 years, Calvin Middleton, Jr.; three sons, Walter D. Trent and wife, Linda, James Darrell Middleton and Troy Neal Middleton, all of Beaver Dam; two grandchildren, Walter D. Trent, Jr. and wife Becky of Beaver Dam and Deirdre M. Trent-Bennett of Dawson Springs; and two great-grandchildren, Derek S. Trent, a student at the University of Kentucky and Erika DeAnn Bennett of Dawson Springs; two sisters, Nellie Leitch King of Evarts and Mildred Leitch Hembree of Melbourne, Florida; and a host of other family and friends.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Paul Parks officiating.  Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.  Visitation was from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Shirley Ann O'Brien
Shirley Ann O'Brien, 70, of Central City, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at her residence.
She was born October 28, 1936, in Muhlenberg County and was a member of Rockport Christian Fellowship Church.
She is survived by her husband, Charles W. "Bill" O'Brien; a daughter, Dorothy Goff of Paducah; a step-daughter, Dawn Matter of North Dakota; a grandson, Travis Goff; two step-grandsons, Jacob and Austin; three sisters, Shelby Allen of Central City, Dorothy Bullock of Mulkey Town, Illinois, and Stella Geisler of Gallatin, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Recie Young officiating.  Burial will be in Echols Cemetery.  Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and before the time of service on Thursday.

Anna Elizabeth Martin
Anna Elizabeth Martin, 79, of Beaver Dam, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at her home.  
She was born May 13, 1928, in McHenry to the late Charlie and Mercedes Allen Miller.  She was a homemaker and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Martin, who died in 1994.
Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Martin Rutledge of Birmingham, Alabama; a son, Charles Ray Martin and his wife Janice of Philpot; three grandchildren, Heather Harris of Alexandria, Virginia, Sarah Martin and Emily Martin, both of Philpot; two brothers, Kenneth Miller of Owensboro and Reathel Miller of Martinsville, Indiana; and a sister, Mary Lou Turner of Lowell, Indiana.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.  Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Ridgecrest Baptist Church.


Ciscero Crabtree
Ciscero Crabtree, 70, of Narrows, died Friday, July 6, 2007, at Owensboro Medical Health System.
He was born August 5, 1936, in Rock Creek, Tennessee, to the late Samuel and Hallie Ledbetter Crabtree of Stearns, Kentucky.  He was retired from Peabody Coal Company.
He is survived by his wife, Idella Eldridge Crabtree of Narrows; six sons, Danny Crabtree of Fairfield, Ohio, Darren Crabtree and Dewayen Crabtree, both of Narrows, Jeff Crabtree and Chris Crabtree, both of Olaton and Charles Crabtree of Morgantown; three daughters, Susan Crabtree Phipps and Sarah Crabtree, both  of Hartford, and Idella Marie Crabtree of Charleston, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held July 7, 2007, at Angel Cemetery in Stearns, Kentucky.

Otis C. Swift
Otis C. Swift, 66, of Beaver Dam, died Friday, July 6, 2007, at Hospice of Louisville.
He was born November 22, 1940, in Ohio County to the late Harvey and Prudie (Renfrow) Swift.  He was a member of Mt. Olive General Baptist Church.
He is survived by a brother, Coney Swift of Louisville; and three sisters, Wilma  Embry, Louise Embry of Beaver Dam and Ethia Gross of Washington.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Mt. Olive General Baptist Church.  Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.    Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville was in charge of arrangements.

Bobby Gene Fraim
Bobby Gene Fraim, 67, of Owensboro, died Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Owensboro Medical Health System.  
He was born May 28, 1940, in Muhlenberg County to the late Oscar and Marie Bolton Fraim.  He was a self-employed mechanic and had attended First Free Will Baptist Church.  He was a race car driver, enjoyed NASCAR, working on cars and having coffee at Hawesway Truck Stop.  He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Candace York, and a brother, Glen Fraim.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Carolyn Manning Fraim; a son, Jeff York and his companion, Lisa Vaughn of Owensboro; a daughter, Shelley Edwards  and her husband, Shawn of Utica; six grandchildren, Kristyn, Julie, Skylar and Brianna York, Tara Brackett and Brittany Mangrum; two great-grandchildren, Haley and Taiylor Ray; his step-mother, Frances Ezell of Owensboro; a sister-in-law, Elgia Fraim of Centertown; and six nieces and nephews, Darlene Flener, Darrel, Dallas and Dennis Fraim, Diana Henderson and Dawne Fraim.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro.  Burial was in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.

Imogene Martin Johnston
Imogene Martin Johnston, 89, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Owensboro Medical Health System.
She was born in Ohio County the daughter of the late Emmett and Goldie Roach Martin.  She was a member of the Olaton Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Stanley, on June 14, 2005.
Survivors include her husband of over 68 years, Kenneth R. Johnston of Olaton; two daughters, Wilma Noffsinger of Greenville and Eloise Dennison of Fordsville; six grandchildren, Boyd Dennison, Jr., Timothy Dale Dennison, Ginger Hecker, Jimmy Stanley, Kevin Noffsinger and Bryan Noffsinger; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Duke-Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Hartford.  Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
