Martha C. Parks
Martha C. Parks, 65, of Hartford, died Monday, November 27, 2006.
She was born on July 13, 1941, in Ohio County to the late Shelby and Ethel Hoover Trogdon.
Martha was active in the Ohio County Food Pantry and a member of Barnett’s Creek Baptist Church. She worked in real estate and appraising after employment with the Ohio County School Board and Peabody Coal Company.
She was preceded in death by her brother, L.T. Trogdon.
Survivors include her husband, James Richard Parks; two daughters, Holly Strader of Hartford and Molly Martin of Florida; three grandchildren, Jamie Rafferty Evans, Lucas Alford and Chandler Martin; and two great-grandchildren, Addison and Abe Evans.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at Barnett’s Creek Baptist Church. Burial was in Barnett’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bevil Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Ohio County Food Pantry.
Harold Blaine Coleman
Harold Blaine Coleman, 57, went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2006, at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born in Centertown on March 26, 1949.
Harold loved God first and foremost, his family, working the land and the Kentucky Wildcats.
He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church where he served as an active deacon. He was co-owner of Coleman Brothers, Inc., and Coleman Farms.
He is survived by his wife, Terry Allen Coleman of Centertown; a son, Chad (Natalie) Coleman of Centertown; a daughter, Robin (Jason) Patterson of Hartford; six grandchildren, Blaine, Levi, Max, Mason, Mya and Sherry; his father and mother, Harold N. and Shonie Coleman of Centertown; a sister, Vicki (Ken) Snarr of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and two brothers, Dennis (Lisa) Coleman of Beaver Dam and Joe (Edie) Coleman of Centertown.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at the Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial was in Point Pleasant Cemetery near Centertown.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Buck Creek Baptist Church or The Sugar Grove Christian Academy.
Freddie Raymond
Freddie Raymond, 78, of McHenry, died Sunday, November 26, 2006, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Jake Raymond and Dona (Kitchens) Raymond.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, employed by Kentucky Fried Chicken and of the Baptist faith.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lyndon Raymond.
Survivors include three daughters, Pamela Jean Richardson of Gallatin, Tennessee, Sharon Elizabeth Evans of Nashville, Tennessee, and Teresa Dona Pryer of Springfield, Tennessee; a son, Timothy Fred Raymond of Nashville, Tennessee; a sister, Syble Moseley of Louisville; a brother, Danny Neil Raymond of Hobart, Indiana; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial was in Fisher Cemetery in McHenry.

Jeffrey Willoughby
Jeffrey L. Willoughby, 38, of Beaver Dam, died Saturday, November 25, 2006, in Henderson.
He was a retired roofer and a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Sturgis, Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie (Holdman) Willoughby; four sons, Christian Willoughby of Henderson, and Drew Willoughby, Nick Willoughby, and Devon Willoughby, all of Florida; a daughter, Hannah Willoughby of Henderson; his parents, Augustus and Trena (Daugherty) Willoughby; two sisters, Anita Faye Willoughby of Crestview, Kentucky, and Kathie Unser of Evansville, Indiana; and two brothers, Amol Carl Willoughby of Horse Branch and David Willoughby of Scottsville, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Ohio County.

Robert Dewayne Beasley
Robert Dewayne “Bobby” Beasley, 51, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2006, at his home in Henderson.
He was born in Wooster, Ohio. He was a retired coal miner and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America Local 2305.
He was preceded in death by his father, Reathel Lee Beasley in 1990, and a son, Jarrod Beasley in 2006.
Survivors include his wife, Tonya Tenney Beasley of Henderson; two sons, Jeremey Beasley of Centertown and Robbie Beasley of Henderson; two grandchildren, Alex Beasley of Centertown and Jasmine Beasley of Fordsville; his mother, Dorothy Beasley of Beaver Dam; a brother, Rodney Beasley of McHenry; and two sisters, Cathy Vincent of Centertown and Sherry Givens of Echols.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at the Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson. Burial was in the Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson. Bevil Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
Allison C. Moore
Allison C. Moore, 72, of Maceo, Kentucky, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was the son of the late Nathan and Lelia (Burden) Moore.
He was a employed by Owensboro Medical Health System as a surgical custodian.
Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Morris of Maceo; three sisters, Lulla Saylor of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mae Geary of Echols, and Joan Fuson of Beaver Dam; two brothers, Jerry D. Moore and Woodie T. Moore, both of Beaver Dam; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 25, 2006, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial was in Render Cemetery in McHenry.

Denver Phillips
Denver “Dan” Phillips, 74, of Falls of Rough, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006, at Owensboro Medical Health System.
He was born in Breckinridge County, was a retired logger and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Lynn Phillips; two brothers, George Phillips and Michael Phillips; and a sister, Donna Simmons.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 26, 2006, at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville. Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery in Breckinridge County.
Anna Inez Gray
Anna Inez Peach Gray, 93, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at Owensboro Medical Health System.
She was born in Ohio County to the late Thomas William and Ada Inez Allen Peach.
She was a homemaker and loved to read, listen to music, and cook. She enjoyed her cats very much. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Murvil Gray on November 8, 1965; a son, Larry Glen Gray in 1956; and a daughter, Joyce Lou Gray Royal in 1986.
She is survived by three sons, Ronald Neal and wife Shirley Gray and Murvil Eugene Gray, all of Owensboro, and Terry Lane and wife Brenda Gray of Orlando, Florida; a daughter and her husband, Patricia and Dennis Lawson of Owensboro; ten grandchildren, Danny Joe Royal, Sharon Gail Troutman, David Glen Royal, Cynthia Marie Carter, James William Royal, Rhonda Denise Gray, Kimberly Marie Best, Dennis Michael Lawson, Lisa Ann Fitzgerald and Stephen Lane Gray; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 25, 2006, at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Rosehill Cemetery.

Harold Utah Poston
Harold Utah Poston, 77. of Walhalla, South Carolina, died Sunday, November 19, 2006, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Abingdon, Virginia, to the late Ray A. and Maude Rickman Poston.
He was a retired sewing machine technician in the garment industry and former co-owner of Tender Loving Childcare, Inc. He was a member of Turning Point Church of God where he had served as treasurer, Sunday school superintendent, children’s department director, church trustee and Sunday school teacher.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy B. Broyles and Edith L. Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Poston; sons, Ken Poston of Walhalla, South Carolina, and Tim Poston of Jefferson, Georgia; daughters, Lisa Addis West of Union, South Carolina, Monica Cook of Buford, Georgia, and April Holbrooks of Walhalla, South Carolina; brothers, Ray C. Poston of Merrillville, Indiana, Douglas M. Poston of Hobart, Indiana, and Curley W. Poston of Beaver Dam; sisters, Christine Green of Beaver Dam and Bernice P. Burkett of Cayce, South Carolina; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at the Turning Point Church of God in Walhalla, South Carolina. Burial was in Oconee Memorial Park. Davenport Funeral Home in Walhalla, South Carolina, was in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Mae Bell Crabtree, 84, of Peachtree City, Georgia, died Wednesday, November 8, 2006, in Peachtree City.She was born in Hartford on July 16, 1922, to the late Jefferson and Dollie Richeson Bell.She was married to Clarence Robert Crabtree on March 21, 1953, in Hartford. Clarence went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2005.She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church in Herrin, Illinois.Dorothy was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She is survived by a son, Michael (Mike) Crabtree and his wife Terri of Peachtree City, Georgia; a daughter, Carol Milam and her husband Skip of Portland, Oregon; two grandsons, Scott and Brian Crabtree; and one granddaughter, Erin Milam.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2006, at Second Baptist Church in Herrin, Illinois, with Dr. Jerry Ford officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2006, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. James Wedding officiating. Burial will be in Mt.
