Raiford C. Boyd
Raiford C. Boyd, 59, of Hartford died Sunday, December 17, 2006, at his home.  
He was born in Centertown, Kentucky.
Survivors include two uncles, Clarence “Doc” Phillips of Hartford and Junior Shrull of Beaver Dam.
Services will be private.  Bevil Brothers Funeral Home in Hartford is in charge of arrangements.

Margaret Robena Gray
Margaret Robena Gray, 81, of Utica, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro.  The family takes comfort that she will be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Gray was born on November 5, 1925, to the late Joy and Beulah Raines Leach in Ohio County.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy since 1951.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Kay, and a brother, Burchell Leach.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Rev. Delbert Gray; a daughter, Anna Faye Rickard and husband Dr. Wayne Rickard; a brother, Rev. Pete Leach and wife Mary Nell; two grandsons, Jason and Trina Rickard of Glasgow, Kentucky, and Jared and Crystal Rickard of Franklin, Kentucky; and three great-grandchildren, Hilary, Hayden and Calvin Rickard.
Funeral services were held on Friday, December 15, 2006, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Carolyn Erwin and Rev. John Morse officiating.  Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery.

Darrell Ray Vaughn
Darrell Ray Vaughn, 50, of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, December 12, at his residence.
He was the son of the late Orban “Pud” Vaughn and Edna Hoagland Vaughn Wade of Bowling Green who survives.
The Greenville, Kentucky, native was an employee of Builders by Design working in construction.  He was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church.
Besides his mother, he is also survived by a daughter, Amber Rae Vaughn of Celina, Tennessee; a brother, Dean Vaughn of Bowling Green; and a sister, Debbie Hammers of Morgantown, West Virginia.
Funeral services were held on Friday, December 15, 2006, at Living Hope Baptist Church.  Graveside services were held that day at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Hartford.  Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home in Bowling Green was in charge of arrangements.

Jackie Dean
Ward
Jackie Dean “Papaw” “Jack”  Ward, 74, of Toccoa, Georgia, formerly of Hartford, died Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at a hospital in Toccoa, Georgia.
He was born on May 27, 1932, in Ohio County to the late Karroll Ward and Waltrude Haynes Ward.
He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Army Reserve as Major.
He was a member of Hebron  Baptist Church in  Dacula, Georgia, and was retired from Suburban Propane.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Karroll Ward in 1957, and Waltrude H. Ward in 1989.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Miller Ward; a son, Karroll Marlow Ward; a daughter, Karen Jean Ward; and a grandson, Dustin Ward.  All survivors are from Toccoa, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2006, at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford with Brother Ed Mitchell officiating.
