LOUISVILLE — Mrs. Edith M. Fleenor, 86, of Louisville, Ky., returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. Mrs. Fleenor was born in Beaver Dam on June 10, 1934, to the late Clayton and Bessie (Cook) Embry. She was an Eastern Star and a member of a square dancing club.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Marshall G. McManama; second husband, Norman Adams; and her third husband, Jack R. Fleenor; her sister, Evonne Embry Barrett (Bobby); and her brother, Ray Embry (Helen).
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Deborah Y. McManama Pierce (Paul); stepchildren, Curtis Todd Adams (Joy) and Dr. William C. Fleenor (Betty Ann); grandchildren, Sabrina Pierce Wilkerson (John), Eric Pierce (Jennifer), Jason Pierce, Norman Todd Adams (Joy) and Carlton Fleenor; great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Layla, Levi, Nathan, Kaitlyn and Lyndsey; niece, Robin L. Barrett Phelps (Rudy); nephews, John R. Barrett (Kim), Scott Embry(Gwen) and Gary Embry (Bonnie); and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held June 23 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, Shepherdsville, Ky. Burial was in Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, Ky.
