Hank Williams Jr. Packs Beaver Dam Amphitheater for Sold-Out Show

By Josh Wright, OCTN

BEAVER DAM — Country music icon Hank Williams Jr. brought a capacity crowd to the Beaver Dam Amphitheater on Friday night, May 29, delivering a high-energy performance that had fans on their feet throughout much of the evening.

Williams, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and one of country music’s most enduring stars, treated the sellout crowd to a collection of career-spanning hits that showcased the music that has earned him multiple Entertainer of the Year honors and a devoted following across generations.

Fans sang along to familiar favorites as Williams delivered the blend of country, southern rock and outlaw-inspired music that has defined his career for decades. The enthusiastic crowd responded throughout the night, creating an electric atmosphere at one of Kentucky’s premier outdoor concert venues.

Opening the show was John Foster, the runner-up from Season 23 of American Idol in 2025. Foster’s performance helped energize the audience and set the stage for the evening’s headlining act.

The sold-out concert marked another milestone for the Beaver Dam Amphitheater, which has continued to attract nationally known entertainers and large crowds to Ohio County. The venue has become a significant draw for tourism and entertainment in western Kentucky, hosting a variety of major concerts and special events throughout the year.
