HARTFORD – Marvin Lee Hoggard, 77, of Hartford, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. He was born April 12, 1943, in Cleation, Ky., the son of the late William Rollins and Janey Smith Hoggard.
Being the sweetest man around, Marvin had a happy-go-lucky attitude. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather.
Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Faye Hoggard, and several brothers and sisters.
Left to honor Marvin’s memory are a daughter, Melissa Frank (Allan), of Homosassa, Fla.; three granddaughters, Amanda Ward (Jim), of Greenville, Rebecca Schroader of Sacramento, and Robin Rogers (Mikie), of Lexington; seven great-grandchildren, Joshua Steward, Caanon Ward, Evelyn Ward, Ethan Schroader, Aubree Schroader, Ransom Schroader and Gwendolyn Scott; stepdaughter, Gracie Cockrell (Michael); stepson Donald Goodman (Janie); 12 step-grandchildren, 24 step-great-grandchildren and five step-great-great-grandchildren.
