FORDSVILLE — Nancy A. Willis, 65, of Fordsville, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born Oct. 6, 1955, in Ohio County to the late Russell B. and Angie Constant McStoots. Nancy attended Dundee School and Ohio County High School. She was a stay-at-home mom when her children were younger, but as her children grew she went to work as a CNA at Professional Care Nursing Facility in Hartford. Nancy was a wonderful home keeper and loved going to yard sales as well as spending time with her family.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings, Goldie McStoots, Hazel McStoots, Junior McStoots, Robert McStoots, Joseph McStoots, Kennedy Mcstoots, Martine Fulkerson, Shirley Phelps and Ruby McStoots.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 49 years, Ronald “Dee” Willis Sr., of Fordsville; two sons, Ronald Dee Willis II and Adam Wayne Willis; four grandchildren, Sky, Raven, Destiny and Logan; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry (Annadean) McStoots; and one sister, Aileen (Brook) Tichenor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Terry Tarrance officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Caneyville, Ky. Friends may pay respects to her family from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home. Due to health and public safety mandates, funeral home capacity will be limited to 50 percent and facial coverings will be required.
