BEAVER DAM — Rev. Ricky C. Dockery, 67, of Beaver Dam, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021, at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Ky. He was born on Sept. 3, 1953, in Butler County to the late Estil Dockery and
Aside from his father, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Dessie Goodman.
Rev. Ricky C. Dockery is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Jewelyn Goodman Dockery, of Beaver Dam; one daughter, Felicia (David) Summers, of Beaver Dam; two sons, Richie (Georgina) Dockery, of Beaver Dam, and Matthew (Kimberly) Dockery, of Hartford; his mother, Airrie Dockery, of Morgantown; six grandchildren, Brandon (Renee) Summers, of Morgantown, Deserae (John) Thompson, Dakota (Destiny) Dockery and Ally Dockery, all of Beaver Dam, Skylar and Sabastian Dockery, of Hartford; seven great-grandchildren, Hayden and Brody Summers, of Morgantown, Colebin Dockery, Kaylee Summers, Caylem Dockery, Maddox Summers and Jude Dockery, all of Beaver Dam; two step-great-grandchildren, Hannah and Caleb Caskey, of Owensboro; three siblings, Jimmy (Ginger) Dockery, Debbie (Ray) Payton and Sylvia (Morris) Moran, all of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Zion Harmony Baptist Church in Morgantown on Tuesday, March 16, at 1 p.m., with Brother Sonny Whitley officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 15, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel in Morgantown, and Tuesday, March 16, from 10 a.m. until time of services at Zion Harmony Baptist Church. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines are in effect.
