SELLERSBURG, Ind. — Sheila Gramlin, 50, passed away at her home in Sellersburg on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020. She was born April 5, 1970, to Kenneth Gabbard and Diana Hooker in Jeffersonville, Ind. Sheila was a member of the Abundant Life Church in New Albany, where she regularly attended Bible study on Tuesday nights. She thoroughly enjoyed cooking, flowers, working with children and a good laugh from a meme on her social media accounts. Sheila loved the quality time she spent with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her mother, Diana (Hoover) Hooker, of Sellersburg; her father, Kenneth Gabbard, of Beaver Dam; her son, David Gramlin, of Memphis, Ind.; her daughter, Diana Elmore, of Jeffersonville; her brother, Todd Hooker (Lindsay), of Memphis, Ind.; and her sister Amanda Slucher (Scott), of Marengo, Ind.; three grandchildren, Addilynn Elmore, Michael Crocker and Hadleigh Crocker; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7, at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2 until 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
