I think everyone can agree that 2020 has been a difficult year, and even though the holidays may look different this year because of the pandemic, we have many reasons to be thankful.
The pandemic has impacted almost all of our lives in some way, but despite the hardships during the past few months, there are still many reasons to be grateful, thankful and blessed during this holiday season.
In a time when it is easy to focus on what we don’t have or have lost in the past few months, we believe there is always something for which to be grateful.
The Ohio County Times-News wants to know, “What are you thankful for this year?”
Is it your family, friends, pets or health? Something else?
Share it with our readers. Head over to our Facebook page and comment on our post sharing a photo along with 100 words or less of what you are thankful for in 2020. Don’t have Facebook? E-mail your submission to editor@octimesnews.com with the subject “thankful.”
We will select a few comments to run in our newspaper each week starting next week and continuing through Christmas.
“Despite the struggles we have had this year, I think it is important to share what we are grateful for with others,” said Ohio County Times-News Editor Dana Brantley. “The holidays are a perfect time for us to acknowledge the blessings that we have in our lives.”
